Enterprise Electrical Services Ltd, as Commercial & Industrial Contractor, has the utmost regard for the Health, Safety and Welfare of its employees and those who may be affected by its undertaking.
Full commitment to compliance with its legal duties is endorsed by the Managing Director in the Company's Health and Safety Policy Statement of Intent.
We use an independent body (Site Assessment and Training Services Ltd) who advise us on all health and safety matters. Our appointed consultant monitors all health and safety on site and ensures we are updated with and adhere to all applicable government laws and guidelines.
All senior managers are SSMTS accredited, all employees hold current ECS cards as a minimum requirement as well as being accredited in industry schemes such as PASMA, IPAF, asbestos awareness, emergency first aid, abrasive wheel, RoSPA driver awareness and many more.
We are accredited to the following professional bodies:

• CHAS

The Company commits the necessary resources and provides access to appropriate information, instruction and training for the mutual benefit of the Company and its employees, to ensure as far as is reasonably practicable a pro-active approach to Health & Safety. How this is communicated is detailed in the Company’s Health and Safety Policy (Click here to read our full Health and Safety Policy).
A regular formal review of the policy and any subsequent revisions is carried out by our external Health and Safety advisers within a period not exceeding 12 months, to ensure that implementation is up to date and communicated effectively.
The Company is also mindful of the special risks presented to young and inexperienced persons and will do its utmost to make all employees aware of the necessity to allow for such persons essential understanding of the activities on site and other places.
Our Health & Safety Policy Commitment
as follows;
- Ensure adequate risk assessments have been carried out and appropriate control measures are in place to control risks arising from the work activities
- Consult with our employees on matters affecting their Health and Safety
- Provide and maintain safe plant and equipment and require contractors to similarly satisfy these requirements
- Ensure safe handling, use of substances and safe disposal of any surplus or generated waste
- Provide information, instruction, supervision and training for employees
- Ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks and source them adequate training as necessary and appropriate
- Aim to prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health
- Maintain safe and healthy working conditions
- Ensure that any deliberate breach of Health and Safety rules and procedures lead to disciplinary action
- Review and revise the Health and Safety Policy annually
